The revenge of B2B at Festival of Marketing

It was an awesome day, today, at #FoM16. Room totally packed, people standing at the back of the room, people sitting on the floor. I was overwhelmed with the attention and the involvement of the audience and honestly surprised. I truly hope my session matched people expectations. I love to think that this was one of the many signs of the revenge of B2B Marketing.

PS. If you attended the session and have questions – just feel free to contact me.

Gartner 2016 Hype Cycle for Digital Marketing and Adverts

Gartner has presented yesterday the latest combined Hype Cycle for Digital Marketing and Adverts. While the positions of some of the technologies are questionable it is still interesting to have a look.

Hype, by definition should make us all a little wary. Gartner Hype Cycles are designed to help sift, sort and qualify hype and manage our attraction to all those bright shiny marketing objects. The ultimate aim is to support decisions on where your valuable attention and marketing resources should be directed

Boston calling

Packing stuff for my next week trip to Boston and Rhode Island. And planning to spend a relaxing weekend in town eating chowder, lobster and baked oysters. Long time I don’t visit the Italian district – I am sure I’ll find something interesting over there.
